One thing that I can't stress enough about Sam is that she is equally as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. She is also a total natural in front of the camera and has a definite future in modeling. She's super smart and has plans to become an architect so modeling will be a perfect side gig for her to make some extra money while she's in school. I am excited to say that I got to be one of the first ones to capture professional pictures for her!
She was originally wanting to do a beach session but then changed to a park and I am so glad she did. There is so much versatility that comes with parks. I absolutely love Jupiter and would do all of my sessions there if I could so I was pumped when she picked Jonathan Dickinson State Park in Jupiter. We had to reschedule her initial scheduled session because of rain and boy were we blessed with a perfect evening and a gorgeous sunset for her rescheduled session. This was one of those sessions that I could have kept shooting for hours because Sam is so easy and fun to photograph.
The park was HUGE so we decided to drive around and stop every time we saw a cool spot. I had so much fun doing this. We laughed a lot, got bitten by a few bugs along the way, and trecked through several heavily grassed areas. Sam said she felt like we were walking through a jungle for some of these shots. One of my favorite things about outdoor shoots vs. a studio shoot is the fact that you get so many different looks in your pictures. We definitely achieved that with this shoot! This park had been subject to a wild fire at some point so we found many charcoaled trees that looked awesome for picture purposes. One was even down on the ground and served as a perfect prop for some of my favorites shots of this entire shoot. Here is one of the pictures on that tree branch:
